International Suzuki Festival 2026 – Melbourne, Australia: Enrolments now open!

Suzuki Music (Vic) is very proud to present:

International Suzuki Festival 2026 – Nurturing Hearts Through Music

Being held at Wesley College in Glen Waverley.

14 – 18 April 2026 for teachers 
15 – 18 April 2026 for students

Our fabulous guest tutors include:

Naoki Sando (Japan), Haruo Goto (NSW) and Masaki Nakamura (NSW) for violin/viola
Kasia Borowiak (UK) and Zohara Rotem (QLD) for piano
Andrea Yun (USA) and Takao Mizushima (NSW) for cello
Wendy Stern (USA) for flute
MaryLou Roberts (USA) for guitar
and others to be announced soon.

Students will participate in group classes over 4 days for advanced students and over 3 days for intermediate and junior students. Classes will cater for students at all stages of their Suzuki journey, and may include repertoire, tutorials, masterclasses, orchestra/ensemble, special study, choir and more. There will be inspirational concerts to watch, auditioned concert opportunities for students to perform, as well as the final concert for all students. For parents we have parent education sessions to help guide you along your Suzuki journey.  Our youngest students (up to 3 years of age) can participate in baby & toddler music classes. Opportunities for individual lessons with guest tutors will be offered to enrolled students closer to the event. 

Teachers will have 5 days of instrument specific and combined instrument professional development sessions, opportunities to present papers, spend time with colleagues from across the world, observation of leading International Suzuki teachers at work and the possibility of teaching group classes. 

Enrolments are now open and on time applications will close on Sunday 22 February, 11:59pm AEST.
