    NZSI Teachers’ Conference 2019
Thursday 3 October 3pm - Sunday 6 October 1.00pm Convention Centre, Distinction Hotel, 390 Fenton St, Glenholme, Rotorua
The theme of our 7th New Zealand Suzuki Institute’s Teachers’ Conference is:
    'Suzuki for life-long learning'

We invite you to join us for the NZSI’s three-yearly national teachers’ conference. This is a wonderful chance for us to come together as a community, to get to know fellow Suzuki teachers, to share ideas and to learn from our panel of internationally renowned guest tutors. During the three days your time will be spent: listening to presentations from our highly experienced guest tutors, discussing new ideas in your instrument groups,  sharing a buffet dinner on the first night and there will be plenty of time for you to socialise with your colleagues.  We are confident that you will leave the conference full of new ideas to inspire your private and group teaching.  This event is largely made possible by your teacher subscriptions. Your attendance at Conference will ensure that you will continue to qualify for NZSI Suzuki teacher registration in the next registry cycle 2019-2021.

    Guest Tutors:
Flute - Anke van de Bijl (Netherlands)
Cello - Carey Beth Hockett (USA)
    Violin - Koen Rens (Belgium)
    Guitar - Zeah Riordan (Australia)
    Piano - Merlin Thompson (Canada)
