DESCRIPTION:Suzuki Music (Vic) is very proud to present: \n\n\n\nInternational Suzuki Festival 2026 – Nurturing Hearts Through Music \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBeing held at Wesley College in Glen Waverley. \n\n\n\n14 – 18 April 2026 for teachers 15 – 18 April 2026 for students \n\n\n\nOur fabulous guest tutors include: \n\n\n\nNaoki Sando (Japan)\, Haruo Goto (NSW) and Masaki Nakamura (NSW) for violin/violaKasia Borowiak (UK) and Zohara Rotem (QLD) for pianoAndrea Yun (USA) and Takao Mizushima (NSW) for celloWendy Stern (USA) for fluteMaryLou Roberts (USA) for guitarand others to be announced soon. \n\n\n\nStudents will participate in group classes over 4 days for advanced students and over 3 days for intermediate and junior students. Classes will cater for students at all stages of their Suzuki journey\, and may include repertoire\, tutorials\, masterclasses\, orchestra/ensemble\, special study\, choir and more. There will be inspirational concerts to watch\, auditioned concert opportunities for students to perform\, as well as the final concert for all students. For parents we have parent education sessions to help guide you along your Suzuki journey.  Our youngest students (up to 3 years of age) can participate in baby & toddler music classes. Opportunities for individual lessons with guest tutors will be offered to enrolled students closer to the event.  \n\n\n\nTeachers will have 5 days of instrument specific and combined instrument professional development sessions\, opportunities to present papers\, spend time with colleagues from across the world\, observation of leading International Suzuki teachers at work and the possibility of teaching group classes.  \n\n\n\nEnrolments are now open and on time applications will close on Sunday 22 February\, 11:59pm AEST.  \n\n\n\nFurther Information and links to enrol can be found at https://suzukimusic.org.au/international-suzuki-festival-2026/
