Bay of Plenty Winter Workshop

The Winter Workshop commences on the 2nd June at 8 am for Registration, with Play-In starting at 8.30 am.  The Workshop concludes on the 4th June at the Tauranga Art Gallery with a Public Concert at 3.30 pm.

On each day of the Workshop your child will receive a Masterclass, Group book lesson and Ensemble group lesson, with Music Enrichment for the under 6 year old children and those that are not yet reading music. Early Childhood Music and Movement is offered for younger children and siblings who are not yet playing an instrument.  There will be a Twinkle Parade for the Book 1 students, followed by a Pluto Juice Bar drink treat on Saturday afternoon. The cost for attending the Workshop will be $215 per person, which is fantastic value for money for the experience,learning and inspiration your child will receive.  This price also includes a social fun whole-family activity on Saturday afternoon after the Twinkle Parade for those interested.  

In order to be eligible to attend the workshop you will need to be a registered financial member of New Zealand Suzuki Institute. If you are not yet registered please join at suzuki.org.nz

Website registrations will open on the 16th March and close on the 12th April. The web address will be emailed when available.

Workshops are a busy and fun time to advance your child’s musical knowledge, as well as making great friends.  We look forward to your support in making the workshop a success for the BOP region, and helping us to welcome out of town participants to our beautiful city.
